when else are they supposed to? the "year" is not from September-May. it is January-December. people live in apartment complexes all year long. besides, they just can't change anything in your lease before it is up. however, they can raise rents and charge you a higher rent when you sign a new lease.

if you are a B/CS resident whose complex was just bought out by Aspen Square, go to the Aggieland board and find a thread with Briarwood in the title. there's a longer discussion over there.

It is not the tenant's apartment to sell or rent, so yes, at anytime the management may sell or rent to another company.

That does not mean they are allowed to do anything to change the conditions of your lease, until your lease is up for renewal.

for starters, if you signed a TAA lease like pretty much everyone else, you would notice in the first paragraph that the lease is between you and the owner of the apts.

They have to wait until the next year, and then only with 'parental consent'.

HA! yes,

As an auditor for a company that buys and sells real estate We change our PMC's all the time when they do a crappy job or when we sale the property the new owner will change PMC or manage it them selves. It doesnt matter what time of the year it is. I would love to hear someone tell a company, sorry you cant do that right now, the kids are in school and we need their permission. LOL

PMC = Property Management Company
