If you are in H-town, go to Hebert's Specialty Meats. You can order whole turduckens or get the sausage. The original Hebert's is in Maurice, LA south of Lafayette. Also try the stuffed pork chops. Damn, I miss that place.

It is hard to judge cajun food if you have not had the good stuff prepared by a cajun or someone who knows what they are doing imo.

Turducken sounds interesting. If there were any place that I could go in and eat one slice of it to see if I like it, I might go for it. But it's too expensive to buy a whole one when it might not be to my taste.

Is there any place in B/CS that offers single servings of turducken?
