Back in the late 70's or early 80's we went to an old dancehall out in the country somewhere called either Laveview or Lakeside or something like that. The night we went, I was wasted big time and didn't have clue how got out there. Anybody know anything about this place? Is it still there? Where is or was it? I remember it being an old dancehall and having way to much fun that night. Any info would be appreciated. I'll be in the BCS area next month and would like to try to find it if it's still there. Lakeview Club on Tabor Road east of Bryan. Stampede night was thursday night. Not sure how I got back to town some thursdays. I wasn't alone in that either.

Remember Dennis Ivey and the Waymen? They played there while I was at A&M 76-79

It's still out there because we had COALS Winter Formal and Cattleman's Ball out there a couple of times when I was in school (02-06). I don't know if they use it for anything besides private parties, but it's there.
