I have had pure hell with Amex this morning. Telling me that early cardholder access is for customers with embedded benefits in card. WTF. Spent an hour in the que and then an hour and a half trying all the different numbers given to me by Amex. Anyone else having issues? Was just looking for 4- affordable tickets for daughters birthday

It's probably talking about platinum card Amex holders as platinum cards come with benefits like that. And George strait tickets are not affordable. Nose bleeds are like $120 and you won't be able to see anything. If you want lower bowl ones that's going to run you at least $400

I can't even get the website to load

I was told at the end by Amex that they guess my card isnt embedded with that benefit. That i should try ticket master or secondary market. 12 man foundation just said its up to Amex how its worded on the sight. I think i'll just get Parker at Baylor for her. Probably less drama

There were definitely a lot of glitches and issues with the Amex presale. Any card should have worked for the Early Access. The Preferred Access was for specific cards. Even with the early access, it wouldn't accept the code. I finally had to refresh the browser and try again, then the code worked. (I see a note on the ticket screen that they are now using the code BLUE for American Express. I guess too many isses with the phone numbers not being accepted.)

Also, Chrome browser never let me in. I finally used Edge and then I got in.

I do think they are holding tickets back for the general onsale, so try again if you don't get any seats on the presale.

I finally got in with Seated. Code is THEKING. But there were hardly any tickets left. I found some on stubhub for better prices as I needed 6. Guessing they will open more next week. Or it's close to sold out already.

I didn't have any issues Amex Gold. I had to go to an Amex site a few days ago to find what card was included. Looks like Gold and above get the perks.

I had to sit in a queue for about an hour though. Mobile was a PITA so had to use a desktop.

Also to confirm, they're definitely holding back tickets. A friend had access few days ago through a BMA and only $300+ seats were available in short order. When I got in today there were $100 nosebleeds available and plenty of seats throughout entire stadium.

There were some $120 (total) tickets available as of yesterday afternoon during last donor pick, but were dwindling late.

Seems blocks are released for each scheduled time, guessing a decent portion will be available for public 3/28, but the internet traffic will likely be very heavy, so betting glitches galore

I logged in on 3/19 for 12th man access. At that time, there was only VIP 5 and VIP 6 available. It was Sec 421 north upper bench with VIP gift, poster and lanyard. Price was $665 for two tickets. OUCH! Checked today for presale and the queue was fast but presale codes were wrong. If you look online now, it says early access code is BLUE. If you have Amex Preferred then you have to input your customer service number with no dashes. I finally got in with BLUE. Here is what I saw...

Front row was $3000 with fees
Level one, row 1 was $1508 with fees
Level 2 was $535 with fees
North zone was $505 with fees
The east bench section $421 advertised was $400 for two tickets versus $665 VIP

These are insane prices but they are selling out. All top deck is sold out. Single seats remain in some areas but they are tricky and call them "platinum" so they go for double the price. TAMU Staff and students do not get access until Tuesday, 3/26.

The 12th man website says that seat geek is the preferred provider so I don't know how stub hub already has so many listed. If you find section 300's for the $200 range then I think you are doing pretty good. I have no idea who was able to get the affordable tickets.

Last thing...one TikTok Aggie said to buy tickets on north end zone to be able to see the large screen. Hope this helps! We bought in section 1/121 fEast 1st Bench for $300 per ticket and we got an aisle seat for my tall husband. That entire area is now sold out.

See my notes on pricing. Level one is $1508, level 2 is $535, Level 3 north zone is $505. I think all these areas face the big screen so they charge more. The prices were insane. More than Taylor Swift. LOL!

I have several sets of seats that I was able to purchase through my 12th Man Priority rank if someone is looking for some of the higher end seats. They are not cheap but am not looking to make a killing on them either. Feel free to PM me if you are looking.

Thanks and Gig Em!

I appreciate everyones info. I was trying to get tickets for my daughters birthday but have gotten so frustrated with this morning that I dont wanna stress on it anymore. I'll take her to Eli Young in waco and use the rest to just buy football tickets. I liked his music in the 80s more than recent and there is no musician on earth worth these ticket prices. Especially in todays economy

You didn't miss anything with Amex. The cheapest Tix available were $400 after fees. The noon release had Tix around $200 with fees, and they went quick.

Worth joining the other two artist sign up lists and they'll probably have a presell code too. I think those release dates were before general public.

What's the best way to sell two tickets? I bought two on the presale, but now that I think about the crowds, I think I may not want to go. I'm getting too old for this I think! It sounded fun at first, but now that I'm thinking About all those people I'm starting to have a panic attack.

I forgot to look earlier today. As I scroll through, the cheapest is $405/ticket BEFORE fees.

Yeah, could go either way. Says the right things since way back, though generic. Only posts for tickets (though have found legit folks have a ticket sock).
Phone # posted long ago checks out in spydialer (which isn't perfect either), but says belongs to a guy, not a gal. Name gets close in association's site, but no 100% matches.

No, no scam at all i can guarantee you. I'm a mom of two Aggies (16 & 17) both in the band and corps staff. i got excited when i heard about this concert and bought tickets on the presale, the VIP package at that. I did not realize that i could wait and buy single tickets instead of VIP's. I ended up spending close to 700 on two tickets and being that i am in my late 50's not sure if i am up to this. Someone had said these ticket are not transferrable so i am just asking if you can sell these tickets ( I am not looking to make a profit, just want what i paid back if possible).

You can try to post the tickets on seat geek, stub hub, or vivid seats. There are already tons out there. The tough part might be to get the price you paid since you can't really say that they are VIP. As an alternate, you can list on eBay but you don't have any ticket info until six weeks before. I hope that helps.

In case anyone is looking for parking, here is the official website. I don't think you have to put in any kind of code as it is being sold through parkmobile. The fees are the same as park mobile. Three options are already sold out.

https://tamu.pmreserve.com/

Can anyone tell me if WCG is a better option than the 40 lot? Is it better to walk to the outskirts after the concert?
cowgal0867
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Yes, that does help. Someone had told us that these were not transferable, so I guess I need to read up on it. Who knows I might still go! It was a spur of the moment thing to buy them. Just got excited!

And there might also be cash/card sales the day of. Buying on Park Mobile does not guarantee parking availability for the lot you pre-buy it for. Especially if there are selling parking the day of the event

We bought two tickets VIP6 when we did not understand the way the ticketing works. I saved a screen shot of the free items that VIP will get but VIP6 does not get the VIP entrance. I also bought one parking pass to add to the tickets if I have to resell at the higher price. I think the VIP will only sell well on eBay if you talk about the perks included. As far as I can tell, the tickets are transferrable. I would wait six weeks out to list them so that you can get the details in your email. I am in the same position...I want to go but 100K people at an event is daunting. I will keep you posted!

Yes! Please let me know what you find out. I bought these just because of the excitement and now wondering if i can handle the heat and crowd! I very rarely resell tickets, i be happy to get something back for these. Prolly won't get what i paid though. So please keep me posted as to what you find out !

If they are non transferable, Does that keep you from selling a physical copy of the tickets to someone here on Texags? Or is there even an option to print the tickets out?

Selling (4) tickets to this event. Asking what we paid for them at $850.00 per ticket. Great seats in section 125 - Row 3. Message me if interested.
