Let's show up folks I went to the game today and was literally the ONLY person on the student side.

We welcomed these student athletes to A&M. They are taking classes A&M. They're Aggies even if it's only temporary. "Once and Aggie, always an Aggie."

Their jersey might have Tulane on it, but that does not relieve us of the responsibility to support them.

AND they could have seen Stephanie Cahill of Marshall, which is not in Texas.

Tulane (2-9)lost in 3 too a very good (14-5) Marshall.

The biggest thing I noticed is Tulane has played 8 fewer games and it seems like that would leave them at a significant disadvantage.

Wish I could have made this game, but school got in the way. I think more students would show up if the publicity was a bit better. I mean, I realize texags gets out to a lot of people....but the school itself needs to do a bit more marketing.

I have a feeling that more people will start supporting Tulane when basketball rolls around, but that's just because there is a bigger fan base for the sport.

RedassAg04 I went to the game. Sure was sad to see only 5 or 6 ATM students attending. The event was free. It would be nice if more people attended.

Emailed the Sports Editor of the Batt, he's going to try and announce future Tulane games in the side notes of the sports page. Sounds good to me.

I think that the athletic department is droping the ball huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge here.

THey should promote or at least tell the students when Tulane is playing.

All they would need to do is post it on their website..................does it really take that long to do something like that.

But yeah it would be cool if they could post it on the side where they have all of our upcoming events, but maybe in green writing or somethin, still this is way more support then any of the players are used to at Tulane...

I don't think they have less than one student show up for games like what happend Sunday.

Only student there for the lady Tulane VB players.

Plus that link is fairly far down and doesn't scream TULANE SCHEDULE. As far as I'm concerned it should be right up there with our games on the front page.

Yeah, thats what i was saying...
And yes the ladies have played in Folgeman Arena in front of only their parents and people for the opposing team, but lets not let that happen in G Rollie, i will work on gettin out to more of the games, its just when it comes down to me being able to go to an A&M related event vs. a Tulane one, i will have to go with the Aggies, which happened on sunday with the soccer game...
