You all know I am an Ag (hence the Ag tag) I graduate in 2002 with a Biomedical Science Degree. I am now in Pharmacy school at the University of Houston. I have been asked last year to be our 26th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament Coordinator for this year and I agreed! Anyways here is some info about the tourney! THIS WILL DIRECTLY HELP OUT AGGIES TOO. THERE ARE ABOUT 25 AGGIES IN MY CLASS ALONE AND CLOSE TO 100 IN THE ENTIRE PROGRAM. OUT OF THE $20,000 RAISE FOR THE STUDENTS LAST YEAR I RECIEVE AN AWARD OF $1000!
The University Of Houston College Of Pharmacy will be holding its 26th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament on Monday June 6, 2005 at Augusta Pines Golf Course in Spring, Texas. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide a scholarship fund for pharmacy students to help with the increasing costs of graduate school. The cost of the tourney is $150 per player and we except singles or teams. Handicaps will be taken at the time of sign-up. Winner determined by Net and Gross scores. Top 3 in each win a cash prize. Also there is a longest drive prize for both men and women, as well as a closest to the pin award on 2 par 3's for men and 1 par 3 for women. Tons of door prizes will be awarded to players of the tourney. Also a meal is included.
