The #13 Texas Aggies take on former SWC foe University of Houston this saturday night under the lights at 7:00pm at Penberthy. The Aggies are coming off a 2 win weekend after downing Tulane and Texas State last week. The Aggies are 2-0 overall while Houston will taking the feild for the first time this season on saturday. U of H is an up and coming new team in the LSA south division, posting a 6-4 record last season in their first year as a member of the Lone Star Alliance conference. Last seasons game at Carl Lewis (U of H) Stadium in Houston saw a hard fought game between the Aggies and Cougars with A&M down at the half before pulling ahead in the second for a 17-5 victory. The Coogs are a much improved team and will be hungry for some pay back and should make for an exciting marquee matchup for the A&M highschool tournament going on all this wekend.
