It's dumb how they've been so late on posting start lists this year, it's kind of annoying! I'm making the trip up and wanna see who's going to be competing already

Its Friday night and the meet starts tomorrow and nothing posted yet.
They could do better than this

All we know is Laila Owens will be running the 400 and that will be exciting to see! I don't think Achane or Foster will compete as they would be observing the spring game, but Bryce could do discus tomorrow! What I really want to see is improvements in the girls 400 hurdles, as well as Kirk Collins going sub 51! I also want to see Zhane Smith long jump, WITH NO FOULS lol. Annie Fuller posted videos of her practicing over the steeple hurdles although it may have just been for fun lol. Either way can't wait for a great meet!

Though the women's A 4x400 will not run this week Laila is indeed the tasty race of the week. OMG this is so exciting to see. I can't wait to see if she is able to shock the performance list. I think she has a strong finish like Charokee but with greater foot speed. I think her confidence and competition could cause her to do something stupid. I would not be shocked if she was able to put up better than Tierra at perhaps a 50 high out the blocks and that would be a show stopper! All grins. Also it was good to see our freshmen .2 off her personal best at 52.9 last week. I expect Kennedy and Richardson to make their statements for vying for a relay pool spot. Jania looked good with her 23 mid/high and is rounding into top sprint form so she could do damage later too. Her 52.5ish open last year indoor sits atop my mind that she could do damage on a leg this year when she rounds into long sprint shape. The 400 this week for me will be the event to watch on the women's side as this will begin to reveal if we will be an medalist looking up or down upon our kingdom. We could break the outdoor 4x4 without Mu and bust it too something no one thought possible except in maybe a Madden video game. Can you guys imagine going 3:21? It could be right there.

Why is Lance Broome running unattached?

It would have been nice to see us still compete in the women's 4x100. The relays are always exciting and being a home meet we could have used a 4x100 B team in Sydnee Stewart, Jania Martin, Taejha Badal and Immanuela Aliu. These athletes should be able come in at anytime and help the relay team.

Both of you make good points! Having Laila and Kennedy chasing Athing Mu will probably help too lol! Very true, relay experience is hard to come by so it would've been nice to see how others run certain legs and look with the baton.

I'm probably most excited for the men's 800. Brandon Miller, should pace the guys to fast times! I can't wait to see the shape Mpoke is in after his 45.8 400! I could see him going 1:48. I know Allon Clay has had a rough stretch but I would hope he can find his old self. Annie Fuller in the steeple should be interesting, she has the build for it although she won't be that pushed tomorrow! I could still see her come out and crank out around a 10:40

Another PB for Allyson Andress in the high jump!! 5'8.75 and she's still jumping!

Very very very strong winds coming from the North end of the stadium! Expect HUGE javelin throws from our women and some great long jumps from Zhane Smith coming up soon!

Scratch that, Zhane Smith slipped on a takeoff and may have tweaked her ankle! Didn't look serious, but she won't jump tonight... probably more of a precautionary thing. :/

Lol I would assume so! Would be interesting to follow! She is unattached so probably training the other events possibly.
