Scares the heck out of me that we are actually favored on the women's side.
I think they have a very good shot! Moore, Hall, and Diggs will take care of business! The win will depend on if Grace Stark can score in both the 60 and 60 hurdles, and if jumpers Claire Bryant and Natricia Hooper can score some quality points! Arkansas could put up a fight if they're able to win both relays, get some distance points, score more than 10 in the pole vault and have Britton Wilson and Shaifqua Maloney medal. It'll be a close one!
Once the other Texas school doesn't win
Ehhh I'm not sure they'll have enough... they have the numbers, but I don't think all their sprinters will be enough. They won't have an oversized track to help them out. They'll get points in the Hep and from the traitor, and they'll score in the sprints but not get many medals there which will hurt them. Their times in conference were not to strong and Chanel Brissett is not competing. But if they get a performance from the old tyra they could win. The 200 will be interesting!
I still don't know how they get every girl to come back and then poach stars from other schools. Something fishy is going on there. They didn't lose anyone yet they had more scholarships to give to the traitor, Milan Young and other recruits. And cause of Covid all their sprinters are gonna have a 5th/6th year and Flo will force them to stay
Can the traitor compete in the multi -events if she is not listed as a qualifier? I saw her listed in the high jump and long jump only.
Nope that person is only competing in those two field events... cause apparently the tu coaches told her she was being overused here and she believed them lol... they're taking her out of her main event.
Young is only a sophmore? I'm way out of the loop.
Yeah she came here in the 2019-2020 school yeah but that year didn't count for eligibility cause of Covid. So it's basically her 2nd year

She is back on the Bowerman Watch list as combined athlete but only competed in jump events. Maybe she is planning on doing it outdoors while recovering fully from injury

They try justifying her being on the list due to her performances last year, while the season is on its 3rd month and she barely qualified for nationals lol... ridiculous
Love Laila Owens getting Lane 6 and our women's 4x400 as well! Also love Lamara jumping after the traitor, Glenn, and Donoaghue and Achquah going last in long jump! Broome will be able to chase down Boling, can't ask for a better lane! Bamidele can run down Randolph Ross, and Hanson gets lane 5! TRJ got a bad lane and Charokee should be fine! Brandon Miller should be fine regardless of heat!! I CANT WAIT

I think everyone who follows your threads knows how you feel about her. Your constant put-downs are getting old and disrespectful for a kid who made a decision supposedly in her best interest. Don't forget how young she is and I'm sure you wouldn't want someone saying similar things about the thrower you are working with. I for one would appreciate not opening a thread and reading the vitriolic comments about Tyra, Gabe, etc. With all due respect for the work you do.

Taylor. Some things take longer to get over than others and this is certainly one of them. Not because of the decision made by the individual but how it was done. The lies, the deceitfulness and worst of all the competitive advantage she give the other school by leaving during the semester and being able to enroll late and still compete in track and didn't give us a chance to get an athlete to replace her on scholarship this season. Does anyone read the basketball and football threads and see some of the comments and things that are said? This track and field message board I would say is very gracious and generous to say the least.
Very well said. Anyways our attention belongs to Lamara Distin and she is deserving of all of it. In my years watching track I've never seen someone as competitive and determined as her. She will undoubtedly break the school record and win the NCAA High Jump!!

Interested also to see the women's 200m. Wondering if we will see a sub 22 second.
On the men's side the 400m, 200m, 4x400 relay and off course looking for a sub 1.45 in the 800m by Brandon Miller
