The Dallas Stars are doing a Texas A&M night this season. Cheap ticket that comes with a co-branded hat. I thought it was pretty cool, so figured maybe some of you would too.

I'll likely be there. They didn't do an official A&M night last season, but one random game they did play the War Hymn. No announcement, no nothing just played it during an intermission.

Lots of Aggies work for the Stars. College nights are pretty much based on which universities respond back and agree to doing it. This year, the Ags agreed. Hoping a ton of Ags show up so it can continue year after year.

They are selling maroon Stars hats....BUT....they don't have the aTm on the back. Same design just missing the most important part.

I tried to buy extras but the guy wasn't having it. Said they would order more for next year's game.

A&M night seemed very successful. Tons of Aggies in the building repping maroon and white. The co-branded hat/ticket offer sold out completely.

Unfortunately there were a few Ags yelling at the interns handing out hats that I observed. A little disappointed in that. But otherwise Ags blew the doors off the rest of the schools so far.

Wish I would have seen this before! I was there in the building for about 1/2 the games the year the Stars won the cup, in my Derian Hatcher jersey!!! In hindsight, I should have bought the Hull jersey (and two sizes bigger....unfortunately).
Class of '93 - proud Dad of a '22 grad and a '26 student!
