Well the ladies soccer team did it again at the Aggie Soccer Complex shutting out iowa state 2-0. It was a good game, perfect weather and another Fighting Texas Aggie Soccer win.

ps After the game concluded I proceeded to ask Kati Jo when would be the best time for us to be loud and yell and to my amazement what did she say do not yell while we are on defense because they can not hear me. I did some quick math, and we need to win out the rest of the season to assure a Big12 regular season championship. That's assuming Colorado wins every game except the one against us. We didn't play well at all in the second half tonight, hopefully they step it up next weekend against two top 15 teams.

I think we played very defensively in the second half making sure iowa state didn't get any shots on goals. It would have been nice to have seen more of the new freshmen in the closing 5 minutes.

I agree that our defense played well in the second half. KJ, and the rest of the crew keep us in games like this where we don't score 5+ goals.

Suzette Devloo played toward the end of the game. It was good to see her get some PT. And, as always, Christina shared time at forward as well.

We should be able to win out the rest of the season and capture another Big XII title! Gig 'em!

Hopefully we'll see more of our local (Bryan) talent Julie Almeida as well. I see us winning the big XII and we're in position to win it all as well given our great goaltending. I think UCLA vs. Stanford is on tv next saturday. We definitely belong in the top 5 teams in the country and it would be great to see this team take the national title!
