aggietennisfan, I never said she wouldn't be good. I was just giving some historical perspective, because I think some people might be more familiar with JUCO football players, who can come in and be HUGE players in D-1. In college tennis, it's just very rare for even a JUCO #1 to have success above the 5 or 6 line, if they ever crack the lineup period.
I'm rooting for her though! Going to be a crash course for her (hopefully) to get her ready for next spring...hopefully BK can work with her to use her height more effectively. At the least, she should be an effective doubles player (those who have played more tennis than me, long players make good doubles players because they can intimidate at the net, yeah? Does that make sense?)
