You have to have the word club in any team that does not apply towards Title IX status. It is an NCAA rule so that the general public does not believe that a sport represents the school's atheltic department.

Oh, okay, thanks for the info. I was just getting defensive because the program here is run not as a club, but as a virtual varsity; full time coach, recruiting, national travel, and established national league organization under US Lacrosse.

I played lacrosse in High School as a club team and know what you all are going through. I wish you all the luck in the world, but wish we could compete as a Div-1 program.
