I know this has been discussed, but for example, how can a #1 seed be playing a #3 in the semis? Tennis has always been strange when it comes to the normal 1/8, 2/7 etc. matchups
I think they set the 1 and 2, and the others are decided by coin flips. There is no set way to do seedings in a tennis tournament, at least not at the top level. If that were the case, the same guys would play all the time.
Nadal is the top seed. Fed is two and Doj is three so the 2&3 are on one side and the 1 and 4 on the other. Hard to think of Fed as anything other than the number one isn't it?
