Harden? No
Beal? No
LaVine? I would have said yes if we had Murray, but hes staying in Chi for the max.
Ayton? There's certainly smoke here.
Miles Bridges? Can he sign a contract from jail?
Brunson? Knicks.
Chris Boucher? Who?
Bruce Brown? You don't create cap space for Bruce Brown.
Jusuf Nurkic? Consolation prize to Ayton? We can have all the injury prone Portland posts. Can someone get Greg Oden, Bill Walton and Sam Bowie on the line?
Collin Sexton? This is who I would like to sign along with Ayton.

There just arent that many targets.

I think they are probably freeing up cap room to take on bad contracts via trade with more draft capital attached but well see.

You can extend him whenever, I believe. Bird rights and so on and so forth but traditionally make all your deals then if you need to bust over the cap to re-sign/extend its allowed up till the lux tax cap and the penalties kick in if you go over that?

So the lakers replaced Monk with Lonnie?? I know Lonnie made some strides at the end of last season, but I doubt he does well in the pressure cooker of LA. He always seemed like he was in his own head half the time

Patty getting his 120% raise that was probably wink wink last year. Also makes it that much harder for Brooklyn to S&T for Ayton, because taking on a S&T gives you a hard cap.

Some Spurs fans wanted the Spurs to make a run at Mo.

Free-agent center Mo Bamba is staying with the Orlando Magic on a two-year, $21 million deal, Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes reported Thursday.

Bamba, 24, averaged 10.6 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.7 blocks across 71 games (69 starts) for Orlando last season all career highs.

Yeah but if they feel like the Suns wont match, then we are on the hook for that deal. i like Ayton, and he's young enough to still fit our re-build timeline, but it just doesnt feel like he fits their plans. but thats just me.
