A large crowd was on hand at Davis Diamond on Friday night as Texas A&M hosted archrival Texas for a fall exhibition, which ended in a 12-6 Aggie victory. Trisha Ford & Co. are looking to build on a 2024 season that saw them reach an NCAA Tournament super regional.

It was a scoreless ballgame until Kentucky's Karissa Hamilton mashed a one-run homer in the seventh, and with No. 14 Texas A&M unable to respond, the Aggies dropped Sunday's finale, 1-0, after claiming the series. A&M now sits at 10-5 in conference play with three series to play.

With the score tied 1-1 in the fifth, Kylei Griffin crushed a two-run home run OVER the left field scoreboard to help the 14th-ranked Aggies defeat Auburn on Friday, 5-1. In the circle, Emiley Kennedy earned another complete-game victory, punching out four Tigers in the process.
