Despite being picked to finish sixth in the conference, Buzz Williams orchestrated a miraculous turnaround in year four with the Aggies that saw them finish second in the league with the most conference wins in 100 years. On Monday, Buzz was named SEC Coach of the Year.
Buzz Williams is the 'obvious' choice to win SEC Coach of the Year
After slumping to 6-5 on Dec. 20, Texas A&M has bounced back in a big way and remains alive in the race for the SEC regular-season title. For the turnaround, Buzz Williams deserves praise, and he should be the obvious choice for the league's Coach of the Year award.
