Aggies outclass Javelinas in final tune-up before Monday's opener, 90-47
In a Friday-night exhibition contest at Reed Arena, the Texas A&M Aggies got the better of the visiting Texas A&M-Kingsville Javelinas, 90-47. Eleven different Aggies registered a point, while true freshman Solomon Washington led the way with a game-high 15 points.

Williams not concerned by close call with A&M-Kingsville in exhibition
Texas A&M escaped with a 76-72 victory over Texas A&M-Kingsville in an exhibition game on Monday night at Reed Arena. Postgame, head coach Buzz Williams said he wasn't concerned with the close call as it will reinforce his team's need to practice and preparation.
