The Aggie softball team opened the 2020 season with a win over the UT-Arlington Mavericks. In the second game of the doubleheader, the Mavericks bounced back and evened up the series with a win over the Aggies.

The first full season at Davis Diamond will kick off on Friday as Texas A&M plays host to Texas-Arlington and Abilene Christian in the annual Aggie Classic. Ahead of Opening Day and their five-game weekend, Jo Evans spoke with the media.
