The College Station regional came to a lackluster conclusion on Sunday afternoon when the eighth-seeded Aggies lost an elimination game to LSU by a score of 2-1 at the Aggie Softball Complex.

In their first game of the 2012 NCAA Tournament, the eighth seeded Aggies crushed the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats by a score of 11-0. A&M totaled five home runs, including two from Meagan May.

The 16th ranked Aggies completed the sweep of the Kansas Jayhawks on senior day at the Aggie Softball Complex on Sunday afternoon. Mel Dumezich and Lindsey Sisk combined to throw a five inning no-hitter.
