In their third game against a ranked opponent, the 12th-ranked Aggies suffered their third loss of the season by falling to No. 14 Purdue in three sets on Tuesday night. With the sweep, A&M is now 3-3 on the year and will play No. 21 Indiana on Wednesday afternoon.

1. Faltering inside the red zone. In the first two sets, Texas A&M was the first to reach 20, but the Aggies were beaten to 25 in both. Failing to capitalize in crunch time, A&M was plagued by poor finishes in the early outings.

In the opener, the Aggies led 15-11 with momentum on their side. When they reached the red zone, they committed two costly service errors and gave away the game. In the second, A&M was up 20-17.
