For the first time in 2026, Texas A&M has swept a volleyball match as the eighth-ranked Aggies outclassed Arkansas State on Friday night at Reed Arena. By sweeping a doubleheader to open the Texas A&M Invitational, the Maroon & White are back to .500 on the young season.

1. Fiery start. How can you not be fired up after unveiling a national championship banner?!

Texas A&M came out swinging, literally and figuratively. A 15-4 start awed the eyes of 6,278 in Reed Arena. It was a familiar feeling for them as dominance on display.

The Aggies eased their way through the first set with Natalie Ring leading the way. She recorded five of her 13 kills in the opening stanza, impressing many in attendance.
