1. Building confidence. Texas A&M needed a win without Kyndal Stowers on the floor. In a 3-1 win, Friday’s matinee served as a confidence builder for a team struggling to find its footing without its star-studded outside.

A 6-0 run to open the match brought a lot of the Grand Canyon’s flaws to light rather quickly. From there, the Aggies didn’t look back.
