Elko's 2027 class sits at 15 in number as summer heats up

Since March 31, Texas A&M has landed three five-stars along the line of scrimmage, a standout receiver and a tight end to run the class of 27 up to 15 in number. What could've been viewed as a "slow" period for Mike Elko & Co. has been anything but.

It’s rather incredible what Mike Elko, Derek Miller and the Texas A&M recruiting machine have accomplished during what is typically their “slow” time of the year. Since March 31, they’ve secured verbal commitments from three consensus five-stars along the line of scrimmage, one of the top receiver prospects in the South and a hand-picked tight end all the way in Michigan.
