IRVING, Texas — Offensive linemen are typically obscure, but those good enough to win the Outland Trophy usually gain a measure of attention.

That is, unless a teammate wins the Heisman Trophy.

Texas A&M tackle Luke Joeckel won the Outland, but that impressive accomplishment has been largely overlooked because the Aggies’ Johnny Manziel also won the Heisman.

“That is all right with me,” Joeckel said.
