Fresh perspective on offensive coordinator search

The biggest news around College Station this past week was the departure of former offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury.

As a former player who plans on coaching at some point in my life, I am aware of the fact that most former players dream of going back to merely coach in some capacity at their alma mater, let alone becoming the head coach. So I was not surprised that Kingsbury left for Texas Tech when the job was offered to him.
