What Aggie fans just witnessed was the single greatest month in the storied history of Texas A&M football.
A national championship in 1939, John David Crow winning the Heisman Trophy in 1957 and a Big 12 title in 1998 are three moments that stand out. Those seasons, plus others such as 1967, ‘75, ‘85 and 1989, are ones Aggie fans will never forget.
Still, it’s hard to argue that A&M has ever enjoyed as entertaining, high-profile, rewarding and flat-out dominant a four-week run.
