LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — An old adage states that two out of three ain’t bad. For Texas A&M freshman quarterback Johnny Manziel, two-out-of-three would be tremendous and historic.
Manziel, who was celebrating his 20th birthday on Thursday, won one of the two awards for which he was a finalist at the College Football Awards show at Disney World’s Boardwalk resort. He was presented the Davey O’Brien Award, which goes to the nation’s premier quarterback, by former O’Brien winner Todd Blackledge.
