Heisman Hopefuls: Despite denials, one front-runner remains

Arguments against Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel winning the Heisman Trophy are like a colander.

They don’t hold water.

Some detractors have suggested that Manziel isn’t Heisman worthy because Texas A&M’s has two losses this college football season. Under that criteria, Baylor’s Robert Griffin III and Florida’s Tim Tebow shouldn’t have won the Heisman. Their teams had three losses when they won the Heisman.
