What to watch across the nation in Week 12

While K-State and Notre Dame have doormats on tap, the focus heading into the weekend will lie out west, where Pac-12 clashes will help decide whether Oregon will compete for a title and who moves up the charts.

After a weekend during which No. 1 Alabama, No. 9 Louisville, No. 11 Oregon State, No. 21 Mississippi State, No. 24 Northwestern and No. 25 Toledo lost, college football’s national landscape shifted significantly and the national title picture came more clearly into focus.

At least, it appears that way heading into Week 12. But as we learned a week ago, there is always the threat of upsets that can muddle the picture again.
