On getting the victory over Houston North Shore…

On visiting College Station for the Florida game…
“It was amazing, especially watching the SEC. I liked the halftime performance where they did the ‘Welcome to the SEC’ with the Army men, that was really nice, too.”
On his relationship with Coach McKinney…
“It’s really good. I told him that I might think about committing to him at the end of the year. It’s going really good.”
On Coach McKinney showing up in a maroon helicopter…
“It turned heads from everybody. Everybody liked it, and it shocked me because I really didn’t think they were going to come. Everybody was telling me they were coming, but I didn’t think so.”
On how it feels to have the staff show up in a helicopter to see him play…
“It feels great. That just boosted it up a lot.”
On the other schools that he has been in contact with…
“Florida, Alabama, UCLA, USC, Vanderbilt, Notre Dame, Michigan, Mississippi State, Michigan State … a lot of them.”
On if he has visited any other schools…
“Not yet.”
On if he plans to visit any other schools…
“Yes ma’am, but I’m not sure which ones yet.”
On if he plans on making a return trip to College Station any time soon…
“Of course.”
On his timeline for commitment…
“Probably by the end of the season.”
On making a playoff run…
“Yes ma’am, we’re trying to get to state.”
