BCS vindicated? Perhaps just this once

Perhaps, now Boise State gets it.

Maybe the Broncos — and other big fish in small ponds — realize why so many have often doubted their legitimacy as national championship contenders. Remember in recent college football seasons Boise State, TCU and Utah had posted undefeated records but were denied shots at the BCS national championship.

They cried foul. The BCS system was said to be unfair (it is). Politicians threatened BCS suits.
