On Saturday night, Texas A&M rallied for an improbable 30-27 victory over Ole Miss in its first SEC road game.

Here are some highlights from the Aggies' fourth consecutive win

Rising: The Aggies. They figure to enter the top 25 this week after improving to 4-1 in such a dramatic way. A&M’s lone loss was by three-points to No. 10 Florida, which on Saturday defeated No. 4 LSU. The Aggies have shown they can win blowouts and now they’ve shown they can overcome their own mistakes and rally from come-from-behind victories.

Last week A&M was listed near the top of the national polls’ “also receiving votes” category. Look for the Aggies among the ranked teams this week.

Falling: A&M’s reputation as a team that can’t close. Of course, it’s well known that last year the Aggies failed to hold double-digit leads in several losses. Well, second half fades don’t appear to be an issue any longer. Last week they dominated the second half in a 58-10 victory over Arkansas. Now, they’ve followed that with a miraculous come-from-behind win over Ole Miss.

Best hit: Sean Porter. Ole Miss had taken a 17-10 lead late in the first half and was looking to build on it after gaining 11 and 17 yards on consecutive plays to reach its 42-yard line. Instead, Porter broke through the protection to hit quarterback Bo Wallace and knock the football out of his hand. Linebacker Steven Jenkins caught the loose ball and returned the interception 37 yards for a game-tying touchdown just before halftime.

Best hands: Mike Evans. Midway through the fourth quarter Johnny Manziel was under pressure in his own end zone when he lofted an arching pass downfield that Evans snatched over a defender for a 32-yard gain.

Turning point: See above. The game was almost decided when A&M was trailing 27-17 and Manziel was sacked for an 11-yard loss and narrowly escaped a safety. One play later, Evans’ amazing catch gave the Aggies another chance and they made the most of it. In the next five and a half minutes Manziel ran for a touchdown and passed for another, while the A&M defense came up with two huge stops to complete the amazing comeback.

Standing 'O': Toney Hurd. It is said that all is well that ends well. By his own admission, Hurd had a difficult game. But he made game-clinching play by stepping in front of a receiver for an interception at the 22-yard line with just over a minute remaining. Ole Miss had moved into range for a game-tying field goal, but Hurd’s pick insured the Aggies wouldn’t have to work overtime.
