Signs of life in Oxford ... but don't mistake it for danger

Veteran Ole Miss tailgaters tell visitors the first girl seen at the legendary “Grove” will be the prettiest they ever saw. And the next girl will be prettier than her.
The old line was that Ole Miss redshirted Miss Americas — a reference to Oxford co-eds winning the famous beauty pageant in 1959 and again in 1960.
Kinda makes you wonder why Ole Miss football has been so bad.
Of course, Texas A&M, which plays the Rebels on Saturday, doesn’t see Ole Miss that way.
