Saturday afternoon, Denton Ryan fought through the rain and cold to claim a 31-21 win over Aledo. Ryan’s ground game and swarming defense propelled the Raiders to victory as they scored the game’s final 21 points to erase an 11-point deficit late in the third quarter. With the win, Ryan avenges its only loss of the season and advances to face Highland Park on Friday at 7 p.m. at The Star in Frisco in the 5A Division I State Semifinals.
