Big East not dead yet? Three weeks in, it appears so
Older readers may recall an old poster called “The last great act of defiance.”
It featured a hawk with outstretched talons swooping in on a doomed mouse. With no other option, the mouse makes an obscene gesture as a last great act of defiance.

Of course, the Big East isn’t officially doomed. It just seems that way after TCU and West Virginia bolted for the Big 12 this year and with Syracuse and Pittsburgh leaving for the ACC next year.
