The physical running back from Dawson didn't have a high profile off-season. He stayed out of the media and focused on the task at hand — improving his game and leading his team. His most recent trip to Aggieland was last Saturday, where he watched the running backs intensely.

James focused on the drills the running backs competed in, the way they were used in the offense and imagined how he would fit in.
