Five Minute Flashback...with Rod Bernstine

This week’s Five Minute Flashback profiles one of the great offensive players in Texas A&M history ... tight end Rod Bernstine. A local product from Bryan High School, Bernstine made the short trip to Aggieland as a running back in 1983. After one season in the backfield, then head coach Jackie Sherrill decided to move his talented jumbo back to tight end. The move paid off in a huge way, as Bernstine became the go-to target for legendary quarterback Kevin Murray.
