Standout players from state 7-on-7 tournament

Here is a breakdown of some of the players Brice and I saw this weekend.

2014 Arlington Bowie DB Edwin Freeman — Freeman is a guy who really stood out over the two days of the tournament. He has the body of a linebacker, but the hips and footwork to play DB. He has great instincts, and jumped a lot of routes for interceptions. Talking with him this weekend, he told me that he grew up a Longhorn fan but, after visiting A&M and getting to know the coaches, the Aggies are now the clear leader.
