It's that time again! We are thrilled to announce that registration for TexAgs Tailgate 2.0 is now open! Act now to ensure that you will have a seat for what promises to be an unforgettable afternoon of food, community with fellow TexAgs Premium and Varsity subscribers, Aggie Football and, most importantly, it's all for a great cause!

If you attended our inaugural TexAgs Tailgate last year at Hurricane Harry's, you know how special of an event this was. And this year, we're taking it up a few notches! The 12th Man Foundation is now involved in presenting TexAgs Tailgate 2.0 as our title sponsor and we are hosting the event from the Zone Club at Kyle Field! Additionally, Global Event Group will be serving fajitas! So it's safe to say that we've stepped up our game in year two of the pre-season kickoff party with you guys!

This is a rare opportunity for our online community of Premium and Varsity level subscribers to get together as a group and have fun getting to know each other outside of the website and the boards. 

Oh yeah … and the legendary former A&M Football players and coaches, and other guests of honor from around Aggie Athletics, that we're hoping will join us for the event is not a bad perk either!

The celebrity guest list, shown below, will balloon into a booming chart of Aggie legends! Plus, we have quite a few special guests that should be joining us but we will keep that quiet for now!

So here's the plan: We'll all meet up on Friday, July 13 for a very informal meet and greet at The Dixie Chicken, just as we did last year! Close to 300 of you came out for this pre-event hangout and it was a blast! Then on Saturday afternoon from 1-4 p.m., we'll all meet up at The Zone Club for a three-hour blowout event, including a catered meal, an open forum discussion with our A&M celebrity guests that will be on hand, raffle drawings, a silent action, the second annual "Liucci Awards" and much more.

TexAgs Tailgate 2.0 will benefit Chris Field's amazing ministry, "Mercy Project" which is devoted to freeing enslaved children in Ghana. Proceeds will go toward his incredible venture and our TexAgs endowed scholarship fund.

We will have catered fajitas and the Zone Club will host a cash bar for your enjoyment as well!

Our event is for a great cause and is also an excellent opportunity to get to know the guys that you spend so much time with on the boards every day, as well as a chance to "talk ball" with TexAgs staff and former A&M players and coaches.

IMPORTANT: Space is very limited and we are only taking the first 600 to sign up (including your guests), so be sure to register soon and reserve a spot for you and your group. It's also important to note that subscribers can bring immediate family with them (i.e. - wife, sons, daughters). Old college buddies, cousins, etc. are not allowed in unless they're a Premium subscriber. We will be cross-checking names and usernames at the door. The reasoning behind that is because we want to keep this as a SPECIAL event, which is only available to you guys. If we opened it up to everyone, it would water it down quite a bit.

***Cost per "plate/seat" at the Tailgate Party: $35 per plate/seat for Premium subscribers; $25 per plate/seat for Varsity subscribers. Also, there is preferred seating and one FREE raffle ticket for Varsity subscribers. Upgrade to Varsity before June 15 to take advantage of this deal (as long as seating is still available … that may be too late).

We have gone ahead and created a hotel block with three outstanding hotels in Bryan-College Station: Hyatt Place in College Station, Hawthorne Suites in College Station and Best Western in Bryan. They have given us a nice discount for July 13-14. All you have to do is call any of these three properties and give them the following rate code when booking your room: 1967. It's the year of A&M's SWC title team and run to the Cotton Bowl under Gene Stallings. The phone numbers and room rates for all three hotels are included below:
