A staff acclaimed for its number of reputed recruiters seemed taken down a notch when defensive line coach Terrell Williams, the only assistant from Mike Sherman's staff who Kevin Sumlin retained upon his hire, resigned his post to head to Oakland at the behest of former A&M safety and new Raiders head coach Dennis Allen.
