QB Haynes King: The once highly-touted recruit makes his first collegiate start. Last season Haynes played sparingly as Kellen Mond’s backup but looked good in cameo appearances. King attempted only four passes and completed two. He had a 42-yard touchdown connection with tight end Max Wright against South Carolina. He also rushed five times for 43 yards in mop-up duty against Alabama. King reportedly has an excellent grasp of coach Jimbo Fisher’s offense.
