Scouting the Commits: DB DeVante Harris

First Impression

When the tape first starts rolling with Harris the thing that jumps out at me is how natural of a cover corner this young man already is. DeVante is good in both press coverage and in off man as well. I couldn’t help but be impressed with his burst coming out of the back pedal and breaking on the ball. I talked with a good friend of mine and former player at A&M (Trey Brooks) who coaches him and he said, “No question his main strength is press man.” I agree with Trey.
