Skill Player Breakdown: Chris Taylor analyzes the A&M tight end group

April 28, 2021

Key notes from Chris Taylor interview

  • You look at that tight end position, and they do so much for the offense. Not just pass catchers, but they're movers. Jalen Wydermyer did a nice job of stepping in and taking over. When Baylor Cupp came in, I thought he'd be that guy. Two injuries later, we haven't seen him much. Wydermyer is TE1, and it's his job to lose.
  • Wydermyer is a play-maker. He always finds a way to make a big play.
