• I'm not surprised by the final four. I think Notre Dame was sweating it out more than they should've been, but I thought the win over Clemson earlier, even without Trevor Lawrence, was looked at favorably by the committee. I think the playoff folks missed a huge opportunity. It should've been an eight-team playoff this year, and nobody would've batted an eye.
