DeSoto DE Shemar Turner nearing next step in recruiting process

DeSoto defensive lineman Shemar Turner‍ is nearing his next step.

Colleges from across the country have placed scholarship offers on the table, but this spring he cut his list to 11 of Georgia, Florida, LSU, Texas A&M, Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma, Baylor, Ohio State, Michigan and Oregon.

Like many recruits, he hoped to take visits this spring, but the coronavirus pandemic halted those efforts.
