Key notes from Jason Rollo interview

  • The NCAA’s loss over the tournament is a billion-dollar loss. It’s fascinating. There is an article out in Sports Illustrated that outlines all of this. The NCAA Tournament makes up 80 percent of their yearly income. All of that money comes in and funds other events. I’ve thought about if every person that was going to watch it and if everyone game $10, they’d break even. Obviously, people have to have jobs to spend money, so this goes much farther than the NCAA Tournament.
