The COVID-19 outbreak likely will leave many of us stuck at home in the next few weeks. The hope that live sports would offer us an escape evaporated this week as pro leagues suspended play and the NCAA canceled March Madness (as well as every other winter and spring championship).

We’re going to spend a while on the couch, but we won’t have any buzzer-beaters or bracket-busters to help us pass the time.
