Facts and future should ease latest BAS outbreak

Apparently, Battered Aggie Syndrome is like herpes. Seemingly, it never goes away.

That’s painfully clear after the Aggies’ blistering 50-7 football loss to LSU last week. Also clear is that amnesia appears to be a symptom.

One loss — albeit a devastating one — caused some Aggies to begin questioning whether Jimbo Fisher is the right coach to build a championship-caliber program at Texas A&M.

Suddenly forgotten was that A&M finished 9-4 just a year ago.
