Mond makes no excuses for team's offensive struggles against Clemson

September 11, 2019

If Texas A&M quarterback Kellen Mond ever considered joining a fraternity, last week’s loss to Clemson would’ve quashed that.

The thought of another rush probably wouldn’t appeal to him.

Mond endured his own hell week. He was battered by a Clemson pass rush that often forced him to rush throws. Then, he was battered by critics who rushed to judge his performance in that disappointing 24-10 loss.

He was harshly criticized on message boards. Some questioned his decision-making, his courage and whether he could win a big game.
